Sorry Cheapskates, But HBO Doesn’t Want Your Money

My feeling is that change in the TV industry will come from new players, not old ones changing their stripes. Maybe a Joss Whedon or a Felicia Day self- or crowd-financing a show and retaining the rights instead of selling the show to a network.
